It is important to me that my students leave our sessions more knowledgeable than when we began. As a tutor, I do everything I can to ensure my students completely understand the subjects they find challenging. During my own education, I was fortunate enough to have teachers who were truly committed to my success, and they have inspired me to be a patient and kind teacher for my own students. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Science has always been an interest of mine, and I hope to instill an appreciation of the sciences in my students. I am able to tutor students in biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and physical science. I am currently applying to graduate schools, and I plan to pursue a master's degree in teaching. I hope to become a physics and chemistry high school teacher. When I am not studying or tutoring, I enjoy reading, and I also like to spend time hiking, cycling, and backpacking. Last summer, I completed a 4,300 mile self-supported cross country cycling trip. I see this as my greatest accomplishment!
