I have been teaching for 23 years. I went to Northeastern Bible College for my bachelor's degree in elementary education and biblical studies. I have since been teaching in many different settings, including classrooms, small groups, churches, homeschooling, and even working as a swim instructor. I homeschool my own children, and I believe in presenting information in ways that are interesting and fun to keep students engaged. If students are getting frustrated, then the approach needs to change. Overall, I'm invested in the success of my students. I tutor elementary math, middle school math, reading, pre-algebra, religions, social studies, English, and test preparation. In my free time, I enjoy running, writing, hiking, cross-country skiing, riding horses, and reading.
